Donna In Your Mid-Day
Posted

Donna came to WAY-FM five years ago from Minneapolis. Her career has been in rock and top 40 radio plus she’s worked as an entertainment reporter and even took a spot on the set of VH1’s Rock Across America.
Donna claims Texas as home but was born in California, then moved to Maine, Montana, then Canada, Texas, New York, back to Texas, Germany, back to Texas, back to Germany, back to Texas (see a pattern here?), then to Minnesota and now lives here in South Florida.
Donna has a passion for helping homeless men, women and children. She and her family hope to provide a ministry concentrating on these efforts some day.
Catch up with Donna about life, family, friends and just have a good time on your drive home weekdays 9 - 2 on 88.7 WAY-FM.

MS Ride
Posted by Scott Hoagland onDonna, Here is the info on the Jack and Back ride for MS. If you don't do the ride yourself, please sponsor me and tell everyone you know to sponsor me too. All of the money goes to MS and the riders do not get anything. In fact I had to pay $40 to register for the ride. It's a great time and a great cause. The mid TN MS society also may be able to help with some of your mom's needs. GOD bless you and your Mom. Donna, I was listening to way fm friday around 11:30 when i heard a conversation between you and a caller about the new american idol judge. The caller was saying that he would not watch the show because of the new judge ellen, you said that you dont agree with boycotting ,because everybody has sins , but most people cover it up and nobody knows about our sins Well something like that .Anyways I strongly disagree as a christian when you sin you repent and turn from that sin . Not live it everyday ,like ellen ,however thats her business. We as chrisitans are to love the person not the sin,but i think like the caller this show will not be watched in my home , to many Americans compromise with people and their sin ,its becoming to accepted ,christains need make a stand and if it takes boycotting some tv shows then so be it ,maybe these producers will start making some decent programs. Thanks, lisa p.
Amen! I totally agree. We have to take a stand against the sin of this world. I will also be boycotting American Idol. Yes, we all have sin, but we are to repent of those sins. I am not going to support someone who is promoting ****sexuality. Not in my home!
i also agree i will not be watching american idol either. i hate that i can't watch it because i love to hear people sing. but i don't agree with ellen's lifestyle and i teach my children not to live this way and i also agree with lisa p, you sin you repent and turn away not keep living in sin. your not saved unless you turn from it and repent and try with all your might with help from the Lord to never do it again. bible says to separate yourselves from people who know better but don't repent and turn from it. love the person not the sin. but that doesn't mean to pat that person on the back and pet them like it's ok.

chocolate
Posted by Holly onThe only way I kicked the habit was to pray that the Lord would make me feel extremely sick when I ate it. That and the fact heart disease runs in my family and it takes a toll on your heart process. I had to do the same with fast foods. Now when I eat both I wake up feeling like death. Praise God!!

Raise Prices of Soda & Pizza
Posted by Gail Smith onI caught just a few minutes of your conversation on the radio about raising the prices on soda & pizza, to help with our health?? I must say it really irked me that time would even be considered on this subject. Has the economy turned around? Do we still have a high unemployment rate in this country? Our our gas prices, food prices and everything else going up...except of course, our pay?? God please save us from the decisions of the ignorant rich man!!!
just 4 fun!
