The Basics How do I donate to WAY-FM? Any way you choose! Our most convenient method is the EasyWAY (bank transfer, credit or debit card). You can do that now securely online with ongoing Monthly gifts and/or Single gifts of any size. Or if you prefer to use a check, you can make it payable to WAY-FM and mail it to our office address found on this website. We’ll respond back to you by mail, and with another opportunity to respond with your next gift. Or you can call us anytime during office hours to donate over the phone the EasyWAY, or to make a pledge. Regardless how you donate, we will respond with a monthly Impact Partner Update that reports back to you what your support is accomplishing, shows your giving history, and gives you an opportunity to make any changes in your giving or to give again. What is the EasyWAY to give? This simply means donating using your bank transfer, credit or debit card. We believe donating the EasyWAY benefits us both. You get some of your life back without having to spend it on writing checks and buying stamps, so it’s more convenient. Plus your gifts go to work faster at WAY-FM. WAY-FM benefits because it lowers our administrative costs of processing your gifts, and we can budget smarter because we have a better idea of what donations to expect. Is my donation to WAY-FM tax-deductible? Yes. WAY-FM is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit ministry known as WAY-FM Media Group, Inc. Donations of any amount are tax-deductible and greatly appreciated. You will receive either a monthly or quarterly ‘statemen’ called an Impact Partner Update that will show your giving history for the previous 12 months. If I already have a monthly pledge with WAY-FM, do I need to renew my pledge every 6 months or every year? No. We will assume your ongoing monthly pledge is just that, ongoing, because you want WAY-FM to count on your support every month. Every so often we will ask if you want to continue at your same level of giving, or invite you to consider increasing your amount. At those times or at anytime, you are free to let us know what you want to do: continue at your same amount, change your amount, or discontinue. This helps us be better stewards of your gifts by planning and budgeting accordingly. Is $10 per month the minimum amount accepted by WAY-FM? No. WAY-FM accepts gifts of any amount, anytime, any way you choose to give. Is it safe to make donations online? Yes, with WAY-FM! Who Who are Impact Partners? Everyone who donates financially is considered a partner in ministry with us because they are making a real impact on the lives of others in their community. We like to refer to the individuals who do this as Impact Partners! Businesses, churches and other organizations that support WAY-FM are referred to as Business Impact Partners. Who owns WAY-FM? WAY-FM is owned by the ministry called WAY-FM Media Group, Inc. which is registered by the IRS as a 501(c)3 nonprofit Christian organization. We are NOT a for-profit, commercial business. As a nonprofit, WAY-FM radio stations are not the property of any individual or shareholder; another distinctive of WAY-FM that sets it apart from most other FM music radio stations you might hear in our community. Who Comprises the Senior Leadership of WAY-FM? WAY-FM’s four senior executive leaders have a combined 100+ years of experience in their particular fields of radio, media and finance to lead the ministry into the future. They include our CEO, Senior Vice President, CFO and COO. Each board member is a volunteer for WAY-FM, and is highly credentialed in their own individual professional fields of work, but together share the common passion in reaching youth and young adults with hope in Christ. Who Can Partner with WAY-FM? Anyone can partner with WAY-FM whose heart beats with ours to see more students and young adults find hope in Christ. Our financial partners, at every level, provide the all-important ongoing support needed to help reach thousands of lives everyday. People donate in a variety of ways: single one-time gifts, monthly gifts, by check, securely online, through their business, through a community foundation, large-size gifts, and especially the EasyWAY (bank transfer, credit or debit card). Volunteers are the backbone of the work of the ministry working at our concerts, in the office and studios, and throughout our community sharing with others about WAY-FM’s impact.
What What can I expect after I donate to WAY-FM? A friendly and timely ‘thank you’ receipt letter from us and, we believe, personal fulfillment from knowing we are in this ministry together impacting thousands of teenagers and young adults everyday in our community for Christ! If you are new to WAY-FM’s ministry, you will also receive our Welcome Brochure. Also you will begin receiving your Impact Partner Update on a monthly or quarterly basis. In it we will report back to you what your support is accomplishing, show your giving history, and give you an opportunity to make any changes in your giving or to give again. There is also a quarterly e-Newsletter that you can request to receive by clicking here. What is the main purpose of WAY-FM's ministry? WAY-FM is a non-profit faith-based national organization reaching out with Christian music via radio and the internet encouraging thousands of youth and young adults in their life in Christ. Currently WAY-FM is accessible to over 18 million people via radio stations, impacting over half a million of those lives each and every day.
Where Where does WAY-FM receive donations from? WAY-FM is a faith-based ministry and, choosing to bypass any government funds, depends completely on the generosity of donations from local individuals, organizations, churches, businesses and foundations. WAY-FM concerts are also a source of funding, while at the same time serving a vital ministry impact role in our community. Why Why does WAY-FM do what they do? We feel called by God to use our resources and experiences as media professionals and communicators to reach the impressionable generation of youth for Christ. Some of our own staff including a senior executive have come to Christ through Christian rock music. For us, this is more than a job, but truly a cause; a timely ministry for our culture.

You can make an ongoing monthly pledge or single gift pledge to WAY-FM, letting us know what you will do. We’ll respond with information in the mail, providing you with a self-addressed return envelope to send your donation using paper checks. Or you can call us anytime during office hours to donate over the phone with your credit or debit card, or to make a pledge. How does WAY-FM use my donation? Your gift is used immediately to keep WAY-FM on-the-air, impacting thousands of youth and young adults every day in our community! How is WAY-FM perceived within its own Radio & Nonprofit Industry? WAY-FM enjoys a high degree of respect among its industry peers. We are grateful for the national awards and other public recognition we have received that are designed to honor broadcast excellence and stewardship of donations. WAY-FM is a member in excellent standing with the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) and their Standards for Responsible Stewardship. In a time where radio station formats seem to change constantly, there has been no ‘mission-drift’ in WAY-FM’s 20+ year history. WAY-FM remains the only non-profit media group nationwide featuring Christian music on local radio, streamed on the internet and mobile devices, and producing live local concerts, for this impressionable age group of middle, high school and college students. Our uniqueness is also found in local involvement that positively and tangibly impacts our community’s youth culture. Local activity includes Christian music concerts, community outreaches, and partnering with other Christian ministries targeted to students as well as local churches. How does WAY-FM do what they do? By harnessing rapidly changing technology, we primarily use FM radio to reach as many teenagers as possible. Historically, we have launched brand new FM stations that did not exist before. Now and in the future, we will likely continue our growth through the purchases of existing radio stations. Other technology WAY-FM utilizes includes many of the popular social networking sites, and our own satellite system to deliver the music format to any station in the continental U.S. including our 50+ non-owned affiliates nationwide. Also WAY-FM streams its formats online to super-serve the "at work" listener, those who listen on mobile devices, and those outside our stations’ listening areas. Since 16 million students between the ages of 10 and 18 have a cell phone, WAY-FM’s online streaming also positions the ministry for future growth so that people can listen anywhere in the world on their cell phones or other portable devices.
