Let's suppose for a moment these 100,000 race fans represent the 100,000 listeners tuning in to WAY-FM in a given week.  Just like these fans, if you're listening to WAY-FM on Wednesday and Thursday of this week, you'll be witnessing a “500 mile” race of your own, a fundraiser we've dubbed the “Race to 500.”

 

The Race to 500 is a simple, two-day fundraiser. Basically, we’re asking you to consider being one of 500 people to donate $100 to WAY-FM during these two days.

During this 2-day fundraiser, WAY-FM needs to hear from just 500 of our 100,000 listeners who can each support WAY-FM with a single donation of $100.  That’s it.  $100 that can be fulfilled at any time over the next several months from 500 people.  That’s just one half of one percent of the people who listen to WAY-FM in a given week.  You might say each person who gives represents a mile in our very own 500 mile race.
