From Renee - For the past six months, I have been undergoing chemotherapy for Hodgkin’s Disease, a type of lymphoma cancer. This past Monday, I was told that I am in full remission. I listened to WAY-FM on my iPhone while undergoing chemo treatments. It calmed me and helped me get through the three hours of treatment. On days when I was too weak or had bad chemo brain and could not get out of bed or read the Bible, I would listen to WAY-FM as my prayer.
From Cody - Hey Wally, I have wanted to send this email for a long time. I'm not sure if I already did but… I just wanted to thank you again. Now don't take this the wrong way, but you are my hero… When I first started emailing you and calling in I was young and very suicidal… But every time I called in, you or someone else answered or emailed back... Of course I email you now for the fun of it but I just wanted to thank you for listening. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
From Mitchell - I'm 23yrs old, and my wife is 20yrs old. We'll be married two years in July, and I'm a veteran of the USMC. My wife and I have been through a lot the past couple of years. WAY FM has always been there to encourage and keep us on the right path. We both work part-time and go to school full-time, so we don't always have time to attend church… God has blessed us in so many ways, and we just want to share the blessings He's given us. Thank you for everything you guys do, keep up the good work!

Posted Jan. 2nd, 2013Dear WAY-FM, I am from South Africa, and you all the way in the USA have enriched, and changed my life! I discovered The Wally show by God'd grace and ever since I am a loyal listener of the Wally Show and just streaming the other shows on WAY-FM. We need a radio station like yours in South Africa, Really! We have Christian radio stations, but they are not as down to earth, speaking to the people, like WAY-FM. I am a corporate businessman, chairperson and founder of a great charity here in SA, we are constantly looking for partners and ways to the partners get exposure in many ways! So if you would like to expand one day to Africa, we will be happy to help and give you all the support we can! Anyway, keep up the great work! And remember that you are making people smile, laugh and enjoy life as God intended all over the world! Kind regards, Lion du Plessis

Posted Nov. 29th, 2012I'm 14. My best friend introduced me to this station after Winter Jam this year. I've been going through a rough time and I promised God that I would be better and your station has helped me keep that promise by playing amazing music. So far I have been on a mission trip at Surge in Lake Junaluska, North Carolina and tomorrow I'm renewing my baptism. I can't thank you all enough. I know God is with me and He'll never leave me. I can't thank you enough. You are amazing. :)

Posted Oct. 18th, 2012Since I was in 8th grade, I have struggled with an eating disorder and self harm. It was hard for me to ever love myself, and it didn't help when my mother was the one encouraging me to go on constant diets. Over the summer, WAY-FM played the song Beautiful, Beautiful by Francesca Battistelli. A few months later, I got the courage to tell someone about my problems, all because of that song. It taught me that not only am I beautiful, but so is my life. It's a precious gift from God. Whenever I feel triggered to bring the ugliness back into my life, WAY-FM plays that song. I am 18 now, and I am on my way to healthier, God filled, beautiful life, all thanks to WAY-FM.
Faith
Posted by Donna Serrett onI just wanted to say first of all Wally cracks me up! I have had a lot of trials lately but I know my Savior is carrying me and have faith he will see me through. I love this station and listen to it daily on my way to work and back home. The music and messages that I get from listening helps me through the day. I am an EMT-IV and see people at thier worst, but it gives me the opportunity to minister to people even when they have no idea I'm doing it and I'm so thankful Jesus has given me this opportunity. I don't think you all realize the impact you and this station has on people, so I just want to thank you for all you do to make a difference in the lives of so many. I pray you all will stay blessed by our Lord and savior in the coming year and always. In God's love, Donna Serrett

And I started to tell him about God our conversesation lasted until it was time for us to go home.. He needs alot of Prayer I just know that his name is Josh and his wife believes the same way...One thing he did say before I left, was that I was differant than anyone else he has ever talked to.He said that alot people have told him he was a Horrible person.I told him I love u in Christ.

Thankful for WAY fm!
Posted by Jamie onI couldn't be more thankful for WAY fm... it doesn't matter if you are having a great day or one of the not so good ones... there is always something on the air that either keeps your great mood going, or lifts you up when you aren't having the best day. I thoroughly enjoy the music, the wonderful personalities on the air, and the entire atmosphere of such a Godly ministry. It feels so great to set aside "religion" and just focus on God. And when I hear my 5 year old daughter in the back seat singing along, word for word, to every song that is played, that just confirms to my heart that God is touching lives, and giving my daughter a rock solid base on which to grow up with. I couldn't be more humbled and thankful.
Love your show!
Posted by Melinda onM husband and i are 19 and 21 and we sarted listening to your show about a year ago when I found out I had gotten pregnant. We started going to church every Sunday and giving back to the lord. And since then our lives have changed drastically. We No longer have to constantly worry about if were going to have money for bills or diapers or baby food. We have learned to trust in the Lord and he will provide everything we need. We both listen to your show every day on the way to and from work and you guys help us keep a positive outlook on life and remind us never to lose faith even when life seems to be falling apart. Thank you for the support and guidance y'all show every one. God Bless!
Discipline
Posted by John Jackson onI have been an immature Christian and a sinner all of my life. A few years ago, I began to see my faith in a much deeper and different way and began reaching for Christian maturity in my walk of Faith. I can see the changes in my life, everyday, and God has blessed me with the opportunity to recognize many of his graces given to me. Unfortunately, despite my intentions being sincere and my desire being strong, I lack the discipline to have the prayer life and worship life that I know I need to have. I have never been interested in Christian music. I would hear friends talking about it and I always assumed that it was old spirituals and hymns. I don't have a problem with those, I just never considered them to be something I would listen to on the radio for entertainment. Entertainment -- that was the flaw in my thinking. I recently heard a friend perform "10,000 Reasons" and that song touched me and made me turn to WAY-FM for the first time. Now my car radio is no longer for entertainment. I have become an avid listener to WAY-FM because now the entertainment aspect of radio has turned into WORSHIP. Through WAY-FM I truly feel that I am able to worship God and keep my life on track, all day long. To and from work I listen on my radio; at work I stream on my computer. I now wake up at night with songs in my heart that I have heard and learned through your stations. The greatest blessing is that my children now sit with me in the car and sing along as we go places. My 12 year-olds are growing their faith through Christian music provided by WAY-FM, at the most delicate and easily influenced time of their lives. I don't want to put WAY-FM on a pedestal as that throne belongs to God alone, but WAY-FM has become an amazing vehicle to keep me in the frame of mind and of heart to be "Jesus to the least of us" as the Sidewalk Prophets sing about. I will strive to improve my prayer life and my time in scripture, but my worship is an everyday thing now, thanks largely to WAY-FM.
