Southern States Talent Competition

On Saturday, May 24, 2008, all southern states are invited to a Southern States Talent Competition at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. Cash prizes and awards will be given out and the opportunity to move on to the American Kids National Finals and the chance to be named "American Kids 2008 Performer of the Year." All studios are welcomed to join the competition, contact the National Office for information about becoming a Studio Affiliate. Deadline to enter this competition is April 18, 2008.

2nd Annual Hendersonville Classic

This is a 5K and 10K race benefiting the Cumberland Crisis Pregnancy Center. The Cumberland Crisis Pregnancy Center is a non-profit ministry. Based in Hendersonville, TN, Cumberland Crisis Pregnancy Center provides counseling to those experiencing a crisis pregnancy.

Registration and pre-packet pickup begins at 6 a.m. and the 5K follows at 7 with the 10K beginning at 7:30.

Life is Good Festival and 5K at Westhaven

WAY-FM had a blast being a part of this Westhaven neighborhood event last year. We hope you'll join us on Saturday, June 7th starting at 3pm. There's the 5K run you can sign up for, of course, but it's also a great day to bring the family outdoors and enjoy games, food and plenty of chances at winning prizes.
