7th Annual Walk Through Jerusalem

April 19

Step back in time to 33 AD and walk the streets of
Ancient Jerusalem. Mingle in the marketplace while enjoying crafts, music, food tasting and live animals. After you have had your fill in the marketplace, you are invited to join us for one of the 4 scheduled showings as we present “Walk Through Jerusalem” a live production of the last week of the life of Jesus. Be apart of Jesus’ triumphal entry, witness the Last Supper, watch as Jesus is put on trail before Pilate and Crucified. Experience the empty tomb and the Resurrection of Our Risen Savior.
(Please allow approximately an hour to an hour and ½ for the full experience )

East Nashville Community Easter Egg Hunt

The whole community is invited for this free event. Bring your Easter basket, blanket and picnic lunch - or buy lunch from a food truck on location - and enjoy inflatables, face painting, balloon animals, a puppet show, prizes, and the Easter bunny himself at East Nashville's largest egg hung!

Movers for Moms 5K

April 19

Sun & Ski's first Flash Mob 5K of 2014 will take place at Percy Warner Park on April 19th at 9:00 AM. This is a free 5K with awards for top finishers and lots of giveaways. The course map will be released a few days before the race.

This race is also benefiting Movers for Moms which is asking for 2 household donations for victims of domestic abuse. In return you'll be helping those affected by domestic abuse and the first 50 donations will receive a free t-shirt. Items can include: plastic cups, juice boxes, snacks, tupperware, sheets, pillows, cleaning supplies, blankets, towels, medicine (Midol, Pamprin, Aleve, Orajel, Childrens Tylenol, Vitamins). You can bring your donations to the race.

Join us in helping those in need and enjoy a free fun 5K.

Deer Run Homeschool Family Fun Day Camp

April 25

Experience a day of camp with your family. $10 per person; free for ages 4 and under. New this year are a nature craft and science scavenger hunt. The day also includes extreme games, climbing tower, Leap of Faith, creek splashin', archery and BB guns, catch and release fishing, gaga ball, hayride, face painting, and a preschool play area. Parents are encouraged to participate in all activities with their children. Bring a picnic lunch for your family.
