A Bellshire Christmas & Community Reception
FREE: On December 14 at 6 p.m., the fourth annual presentation of "A Bellshire Christmas and Community Reception” promises to be a joyful and exciting event featuring wonderful music, fantastic food and lots of fun fellowship! Come experience the birth of Jesus through a powerful media presentation, through poignant songs by soloists, trios and quartet and through a candle lighting ceremony that reminds us of the light that shone brightly in Bethlehem that night over 2,000 years ago when our Savior was born! 2013 Festival of Carols
Brentwood United Methodist Church (BUMC) will present its 2013 "Festival of Carols,” on Sunday, December 15, 2013, at 7 p.m., in the Sanctuary.
The “Festival of Carols” features the over 90-voice BUMC Chancel Choir, directed by Dr. Bill Caldwell and accompanied by Patsy Wade, pianist; Dr. Gregg Bunn, organist; and a 40-member professional orchestra. Other musical participants on the program are the Alleluia Choir of 5th and 6th graders, directed by James Wells; and the BUMC Ringers, the adult handbell choir conducted by Dr. Bunn.
In addition to an array of memorable seasonal musical selections, the free concert will include some well-known Christmas carols with an opportunity for the audience to join in singing at several points during the one-hour festival of music. Scheduled to be on the program are "Ding Dong Merrily," "Heavenly Light," "Ave Maria," "I Saw Three Ships," "A Father's Love," "Breath of Heaven," "Sussex Carol," and "Fum, Fum, Fum," plus other favorites.

Annie Moses Band
