Alzheimer's Support Group

Description: Caring.com shares these thoughts: “For many caregivers, a support group is a place to exhale…a confidential positive setting for sharing experiences and releasing emotions.” That is the mission to which Home Helpers of Middle Tennessee and Brentwood Baptist Church Support Ministries have put their efforts in hosting an Alzheimer’s Support Group the fourth Thursday of each month at the church, located at 7777 Concord Road in Brentwood. Scheduled for 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Room 2132AB, the group is dedicated to providing individuals who care for, or have a family member who struggles with dementia or Alzheimer’s, a resource for leaning on others as he or she copes with the stress of living with these debilitating health issues. The church can provide supervised care for the loved one whose caregiver or family member is in attendance.

4th Annual Spring Hill Academy Benefit Golf Tournament
