On July 30 Christ Presbyterian Church welcomes Robin Mark who is an acclaimed songwriter/artist from Ireland. Robin is known for the worship songs "Days of Elijah" and "Lion of Judah". He will be joined in concert with his Belfast band! All ages are welcome!

Third Coast Sports Foundation, a non-profit sports ministry based in Nashville is hosting Faith Day with your Atlanta Braves August 2. It's the Braves vs. the Milwaukee Brewers with a post-game concert featuring Steven Curtis Chapman and testimonies from Braves Players including Mark Teixiera and Matt Diaz with appearances by Veggie Tales Heroes Bob and Larry. Tickets are $15 and are avaliable at www.braves.com/chapman.

Gospel concert featuring southern gospel, praise & worship, country gospel and contemporary gospel will be held on Saturday, August 2nd at the Celebration Grounds Farmer's Market in Shelbyville, TN. The concert is free and begins at 5 pm featuring music by The Challengers, The Hamilton and the Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church Praise Team - The Spirit of Joy Praise Band. Concessions will also be available. A free will donation will be accepted to raise money for the American Cancer Society.

At Celebration of Life Church, we believe the right start will help make a kid smart. To assist those in our community, we are hosting our first school supply give-away. A variety of school supplies will be given out, including paper, folders, markers, colored pencils, glue, scissors and more. (Supplies divided by grade level.) This event is open to everyone in the community so if you know of a child in need of school supplies, please stop by so we can bless them. Everyone is welcome. Donations of school supplies and financial donations are being accepted for this event.
